SHV Young Adults

Young adulthood is both exciting and daunting. This is a time of discovery, establishment, and setting a trajectory that will affect the rest of your life. Now more than ever, you need a community of friends to share the adventures, share the burdens, share the victories, share the defeats… and share in the wonder of God and His purpose at this time in life.

If you’re between the ages of 18 to 30ish, SHV is the place for you. In addition to having a thriving, multi-generational church family to participate in, we also have opportunities for you to worship, study, and interact with other young adults sharing similar life experiences with you.

SHV College/Young Adults Group – For the class of 2009 and older (think 18-24ish), join us on Sundays after church. Grab some lunch and head back to the SHV Students area (formerly “The Velocity Room”) for some worship and discussion of that morning’s sermon. Get involved to find out more about special events, retreats, and service projects. Starts Sunday, September 13 at 1:00 pm in the SHV Students area.

“Twenty-Somethings” Growth Group – On Thursdays at 6:30 pm, come back to SHV
for a sermon-based Growth Group designed especially for the 25+ crew. Grow closer to God and build community through worship and discussion of the previous Sunday’s sermon. Starts Thursday, September 17th at 6:30 pm in The Café at SHV.
