Being a teenager is a challenge. SHV Students helps equip teens to meet the challenge. SHV Students is committed to helping teens discover Real Life, Real Community, and Real Mission in a context that is all about teaching and modeling what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Summer Sunday Nights
Starting June 6, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, join us at SHV on Sunday Nights for a break from the same old thing. Some weeks we’ll play fun games in the field next door, other weeks we’ll play crazy games at the Church. Every week, you will learn something important about Wisdom as we take a closer look at Proverbs 3:5-6 and related verses in the Bible. The 7th & 8th grades meet in the new Club 56 room and High School (9th-12th) meet in the Café. You have to show up to find out what’s happening!
Travel The Road Sunday Mornings
What if there was a reality TV show that showed real adventure for a real cause that really matters? There is! It’s called “Travel The Road” and we’ll be screening it on Sunday mornings this summer. Follow along with real missionaries who brave dangerous, exotic locations as they share the Gospel with people. This award-winning series will whet your appetite for missions. Join us at 10:45 am on Sunday mornings in the new Club 56 room.
Wednesday Night Teen Growth Groups
So you still want a good mid-week Bible study this summer…? Okay, okay, Dan and Jen have your answer! Go to the Growth Group page under the Real Community link and look for information on Jen’s Teen Girls’ study and Dan’s Teen Guys’ study. Open to all teens 7th-12th grades. Call or email ahead to find out what you’re studying that night!

June 16
VBS Training for teen and adult leaders. Contact SHV Kids for more information (VBS is June 21-25).
June 26
Single Parent Support Day on Saturday morning. SHV Students is hosting the car wash. Bring yourself (and a friend, a bucket, a sponge, and a towel… if you can).
July 4
No Summer Sunday Night so families of students and adult leaders can celebrate Independence Day.
July 30
SHV Students BBQ and Pool Party. 6:30 to 8:30 pm. $5 per person. Includes all you can eat and all you can swim. Meet at Aqua Vista Pool. 18700 East Wagon Trail Circle, Aurora, CO 80015.
August 15
Family Faith Day at Coors Field. Watch the Rockies play and see Jeremy Camp live in concert. Tickets are $12 and available at the Bookstore in the Café on Sundays. Bring your family (you’ll need a ride from them anyway…)
August 22
Vineyard Academy Track A begins at 9:00 am.
September 5
Club 56 Kick-off! 9:00 & 10:45 am services. For 5th/6th grades ONLY! “Reset Day” (no activities) for 7th-8th and High School students.
September 12
Sunday Night Live Kick-Off Event! 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Meet at SHV. It’s going to be awesome!
