WOMEN’S RETREAT: SAVE THE DATE!
May 21-22, 2010
“Experiencing God’s Love” is the theme for the Women’s Retreat at the YMCA of the Rockies. June Thompson is the keynote speaker. Registration is $15. Hotel room rates range from $50.80 (plus tax) for five in a room to $130 (plus tax) for a single. The rate includes dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Seriously, women are just about the busiest people on the planet. How do we keep up with it all: cooking, cleaning, washing, folding, fixing, shopping, paying, planning, teaching, serving… the list never seems to end. (And, ahem, do you ever—in a fleeting moment—wonder if God has more for you than the rote responsibilities of daily life?)
He does. God has an amazing plan for each of us—it’s just that sometimes, when the washing machine is thumping with a lopsided load—it can be hard to hear the sweet whisper of God.
SHV Women is here to meet you right where you are at and to help you tune in to Jesus. We are here to offer encouragement, friendship, and guidance. If you think women’s ministry is about macramé and casseroles, well, you’ve not experienced life with SHV Women.
