OK, tell the truth. Were you tempted to skip right over the “service” section? Do you hesitate to sign up to “serve” because you’re afraid you’ll be scrubbing bathrooms—or worse—sucked into doing more than you have time for?

Yep. There are lots of misconceptions when it comes to serving. But when you are actually serving in an area that connects the dots of your passion and calling, then it tends to fill you up more than anything—giving a glimpse of who you are (and can be) in Jesus.

We’re willing to bet that if you took a risk—and spent one Sunday helping distribute food and pray for people through our NET ministry—that you might change your perspective on serving. A few hours a month might change your life—and someone else’s for the better.

So, give it a go. Take a risk. The Vineyard was built on people taking risks…and we promise, no toilet scrubbing…that is, unless you absolutely insist on it.
