A typical Sunday in our classrooms:
- Kids arrive

10:25 am to 10:45 am
9:10 am to 9:30 pm
10:55 am to11:15 am (in Summit Room)
- Teaching (lesson, response activities, snack)
9:30 to10:15 am
11:15 am to 12:00 pm
- Kid pick-up
10:15 am first service
12:00 pm second service
You will “Check-In” your children at the kiosks in the lobby between the yellow and blue SHV Kids hallways. At these kiosks, two name labels and a security label will be printed for each child: your child wears one name label, the teacher keeps one name label, and you keep the security label in order to properly check-out your children after service.
No child will be admitted into a classroom without a name and number label. If your child or family is not currently in our system, please complete a Family Registration Form and the appropriate label will be generated for them. If your child has any allergies or special needs, please clearly state these and your instructions on the Family Registration Form.
If you are visiting for the first time, or your children are experiencing separation anxiety, you may choose to visit your child’s classroom. Before entering the classroom, you must obtain a visitor name tag from the check-in kiosk.
For security reasons, only parents and guardians listed on the Family Registration Form will be allowed to pick-up a child. This adult must show the child’s matching security label in order for the child to be released. If you have lost your child’s security label, you may return to the Check-In kiosk and you will be required to show photo identification.
If you are needed during the service, the security label code will appear on the paging monitors in the sanctuary.

GENERAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
One of the top priorities of SHV is to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for the children to participate in and an environment where you feel comfortable leaving your children. We take our children’s safety very seriously, and to that end we ask that everyone who works with children follow specific policies, without exception. SHV is happy to provide a copy of these to any parent.
