STEPHEN MINISTRY

Christ Caring for People through People

What is Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministry equips people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals within our congregation and the community.

Who is a Stephen Minister?
• Someone who walks beside a person who is hurting.
• A congregation member who exercises compassion, care giving and friendship.
• A person who has received 50 hours of Stephen Ministry training.
• Someone who will “be there” for his or her care receiver, meeting faithfully for about one hour each week, as long as there is a need.
