Tell a little about yourself:
I grew up in North Dakota so I think Colorado winters are beautiful. I’m a wife and a mother to a very sweet boy named Wyatt.
Favorite quote from scripture:
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalms 27:13-14
What inspired you to do what you do:
I’m not sure what inspired me to do what I do. I didn’t even really know that being an artist was a job. I came from a hard working blue collar family. Seriously it never really occurred to me until about late high school/early college. Of course, now I can’t imagine doing anything else. .
I like a lot of music. In all honesty I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor lately…I know I’m thirteen.
Best vacation I’ve taken:
McAllen,TX. We went to visit my husband’s grandparents in their retirement community and it was to most relaxed I’ve ever been. We ate amazing food, took naps daily, and watched the Hallmark movie every night before our 10:00 pm bedtime.
Book that moved you:
Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. Seriously ask my group. I was/am obsessed.
On the weekend I love…:
I LOVE going to the movies.
Best advice I ever got:
“…when people already know they’re deficient, they have nothing to lose by trying.”
