UPDATED Pastoral note from Greg T
I wanted to write a brief update and remind you we are in this together!
These words of Jesus from Matthew 6 are still profound today, because He was teaching on worrying about basic necessities.
Take 30 seconds to hit pause,
quiet your heart and mind,
and reflect on these
words of Jesus.
Don't forget to tune in to our online services Sunday at 9 or 10:45a. We will worship, and I'll share a super practical message on Finding Peace. Host or join a Watch Party on Facebook!
We are also working diligently to put together resources you and your friends can use. Like "How to avoid a meltdown when you're cooped up," stories of what others are doing to survive and thrive, personal and family devotional practices, etc. This is a time you can grow in your relationship with Jesus!
Our Hope Starts Here Food Bank will be serving hundreds of people this Sunday from 7a-12p. We'll have pallets set up around the entire parking lot, people will stay in their cars and our team will place food in vehicles while maintaining a safe distance. Thank God, we are receiving an incredible amount of bulk food! If you know anyone who is "food hungry" (not knowing where their next meal will come from) please let them know.
And please send prayer requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are keeping a running list of people in need of prayer for healing.
I am praying for you.
